Repent Like King David

Oh singers and dancers and trumpeters blow.. Take up your mantle and away you go. Shout with great joy, for your spirit is free.. So rise and rejoice and be glad as can be. Kneel before the altar and howl like the wind.. Count all your blessings and forget how you sinned. Seated at the table, is the hope for mankind.. Tarry not defeated and sit down and dine. Anointed and appointed, are the ones who are called.. Troubles, though heavy, would the lions maul. Out of captivity, you will eat of the fat.. Where plaques of the past, kept you down flat. Repent like King David, but create like a psalm.. In colours of the rainbow, in storm or in calm. Make preparations, for the ones who will come.. For the seeds that you sow, will bring harvest to some. Say goodbye to Egypt and gather up your praise.. For the path you must take, may portray like a maze. Hide in your heart, your weapons of war.. And be ever grateful, you are blessed to the core.
