At Jesus Feet
I am a child and I cry to my God.
For I know in my heart, my words touches His ears.
He hears my voice and answers my prayer.
My help comes from heaven and my house is all clear.
Awake for me my fortune.
While hate is festered everywhere.
Though screams of misconception, fiddles with great fear.
I rise and overcome, for my faith is but a seed.
As the twinkling of each starlight, I uproot every weed.
My strength is beyond measure.
My hope is just as smart.
My place is at the table and my bed is ready-made.
My cup is running over.
My garment is full of praise.
Quicker than a flash of light, my eyes are just amazed.
Though opposed in many ways..
I rest at Jesus's feet.
Command I will, to war against..
Each plight and thirst to quench.
Oh glorious endeavours, how marvelous you are..
For I cease to sit and wonder..
