I Can Pray For You Today

 I can pray for you today and show you my love..

I can walk right beside you, like my hand fits a glove.

I can show you the world and all the beauty therein..

But when you leave this world, you cannot repent of your sin.


I can build you a castle and adorn it with gold..

Hang crystal chandeliers, from ceilings that are cold.

I can paint you a picture, with colours red and green..

But the day is fast approaching, when you will not be seen.



I can read you bedtime stories, about fountains flowing free..

Where hazelnuts are eaten and honey is in tea.

I can give you all my love and hug you with ease..

But as quick as a heartbeat, you will not do as you please.


I can drown you in nectar and bathe you in milk..

Quench every thirst and clothe you in silk.

I can bestow great white horses, to take you place to place..

But if you don't accept Jesus, you will never win this race.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
