The Lord Is So Good

 Time and time again, the Word of God is preached..

To those who have ears and to those beyond reach.

Some pay attention and some laugh with scorn..

While way up in heaven, robes are ready to adorn.


Five filled their lamps and were ready to behold..

As the bridegroom cometh, for the young and the old.

Though the midnight hour,


seemed a million miles away..

Their hearts were prepared, in the closet where they prayed.


From Genesis to Revelation, the Lord is so good..

In words and in actions, through trials in the hood.

While mercy keeps repeating, for good to prevail..

There are those who reject, the healing from their ail.


Cometh love to save us, from sin and from shame..

Whether far in season, as pawns in the devil's game.

Time and tide may fail us, but perfect love prevails..

Within the ark of safety, God is anchor with the sails.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
