I Am Just A Daughter

I am not Thomas, who doubted the Lord..
I am not Peter, who denied his own God.
I am not Noah, who cursed his own son..
I am just a daughter, who

has already won.

A long time ago, Paul was called Saul..
A soldier in armour, who persecuted all.
Yet Lo and Behold, while traveling on a path..
The Christ for all ages, took ahold of his heart.

Wisdom of men, is as the sinking sand..
The thoughts that are birthed, mingles like a band.
I am not stagnated, neither am I poor..
For the God I call my Saviour, called me from the floor.

Though my eyes seem cloudy, my vision will prevail..
To see beyond the natural, by faith I will not fail.
A drink of wine to savour, the grace of my belief..
A royal thread in linen, I am not a thief.

Like a spark in summer, my inner being shine..
As Esther bathed in spices, so to I will bind.
Blessed beyond the river, I am the Lord's delight..
For the Blood of Jesus cleansed me, by faith and not by sight.
