Better Unto You

You might be taken up in the lips of talkers. You might reside in the midst of the sea. Your mountain might be filled with cattle and thieves rob you at night. But through it all, though scattered and torn. You will feast and be not forlorn.

Though they drive you from your land. By God's grace you will stand. For strength will clothe you where you go. And loving arms will let you know. That no dark cloud will be your guide. Because the Lord is on your side.

Perpetual hate be multiplied. By those around you with their might. But battle scarred and armed to fight. You will stand with great delight. For who you are and whose you be. Will come to light for all to see.

You will shoot forth your branches and yield fruits of every kind. For tilled and sown your garden will align. And in your barn, you turn the key. For better unto you, your substance will be.
