Break Your Fallow Ground

Go forth my brother, to do the Lord's will..

With might and authority, to beat and to thrill.

Stand on your guard and assert your defense..

For the armies of heaven, will

equip you with sense.

In the valley and the pit, you will be all alone..

For those in your household, will chew you like a bone.

You will cry and despair, as trust goes away..

But lift up your head and rejoice as you pray.

Faith will be your clothing, when winter breaks the tide..

Where all your heightened senses, will meet doors open wide.

Gather all your wisdom and bring in your sheaves..

For Christ your redeemer, will wear you on his sleeves.

Do not be afraid, as you break your fallow ground..

For on the grass of mercy, your heart will be found.

You are not forgotten, neither are you lost..

For listed up in heaven, is your name from Calvary's Cross.

Just across the milestones, lay beds of roses red..

Dressed in sacred splendor, for the bride that must be wed.

Be so bold in mystery, for you will always rise..

On days of sun and water, as blessings will suffice.
