You Are Not a Friend

You hold out a sign, that says, do not disturb.
You think in your heart, I will sit on the curb.
As you smile with your cheek, I feel cold all around..
For the trembling inside, lays buried in the ground.

I know who you profess, is not who you are..
As daggers are hidden, but not very far.
Like a thief in the night, without a sound..
You sacrifice your soul

and think you will never be found.

There is nothing hidden, that shall not be exposed.
For the dark of night, sees the shadows of my foes.
All you have written in blood, in the cold..
Will surely shine brightly, with words to be told.

You are not a friend, or one who is kind..
Whose essence of mercy, I cannot find.
Where you choose to go and what you choose to do..
Hope will never find you, or make you like new.

What you sow, is what you will reap..
I pray you seek, treasures for to keep.
Let not your heart, be overcome with pride..
For the carriage awaits, to take you on a ride.
