The Closer You Walk With God, The Greater The Battle Will Be

 The closer you walk with God, the greater the battle will be.

There are those who surround you, who will sting you like a bee.

Words will be spoken, to destroy your house..

But keep fighting and rejoicing, for you are not a timid little mouse.

As you sink yourself deeper, in prayer to the Lord.

You will know by discernment, who is stiff as a board.

As you rise up in faith, you will be pushed and shoved..

But glory hallelujah, you will fly like a dove.

Those you called friends, will be the wolves in the pack..

They will stalk you with weapons, to kill and attack.

The smile on their faces, comes not from the heart..

So maintain your focus and be covered and smart.

The crowd on your path, is not your support.

For the kingdom of darkness, wants your net to be caught.

Go by the grace and glory of the Lord..

To do HIS will and be armed with your sword.

Your journey will take you, through a valley of despair.

And nights upon nights, you might cower in fear.

Remember where you go, mercy goes before you.

To sanctify the wilderness,  for to make you like new.
