You Don't Cook In Vain

Try a little salt, to heal your wound..

To cleanse every sore, of hype and doom.

Add some light and mix it well..

And show the world, how Jericho fell.

Where you go and what you do..

The flame of God, must be with you.

For demons dance, when Christians fall..

So you must shine, or else you'll crawl.

On your own, you will wear defeat..

For what you need, is to sift like wheat.

In each meal, there must be herbs..

Reaped from Eden's, priceless curbs.

You might think, you cook in vain..

For those who eat, just see their gain.

What they do not, see inside.

Are dusted white and salted light.

You are not, who others say..

For Jesus hears you, when you pray.

Be the candle, on the stick..

And flavour those, who are weak and sick.
