The Time You Have Left
What will you do, with the time you have left?
When the years and the days, are not sparkles on the cleft...
Today you were told, you would never grow old...
And the kingdom of darkness, has tightened its hold.
The lilies of the valleys, you thought you would see...
Were happily ever after, in the mind of the free.
The smiles for tomorrow, are not welcome again...
For sadness and sorrow, are your clouds of pain.
You said in your boast, you would always be strong...
And fear of the Lord, was not your favourite song.
To call upon heaven, in obedience and prayer...
Were careless whispers, in the wind's own ear.
Your cup is nearly empty and there is no refill...
So what will you do, while there is
time to till?
Two voices are speaking, but one wants to steal...
So tarry not in hasting and get in the wheel.
The clock is ticking, so do not delay.
And time is not permitted, to prolong your stay.
What you sow you will reap, so plant with fresh oil.
And repent of your sins, or have hell as your soil.
