Shut My Mouth

 I slip, I fall, I walk, I crawl...

In my endeavour, to give my all.

The things I do, may not suit you...

Yet the road I travel, is for just a few.

Often I would say to God...

Shut my mouth, so I don't pierce like a sword.

My words must be a blessing full...

To heal the hurt, to those beaten like a bull.

I try my best to do each day...

What the Lord, has sent my way.

Though times of weakness may occur...

My faith in God, will be my fur.

I am not the frontal kind...

But I know that I am thine.

With my breath, I do endow...

My time on earth, when I kneel and bow.

To you, I may be lowly...

To you, I may be meek.

But Glory Hallelujah...

For Christ, I always seek.
