Cross The X

Learn to walk away from those.
Who pull you down and think no one knows.
And as you walk with strides so fierce.
Know your leaving pricks and pierce.

Learn to cherish those who care.
Because their love is very rare.
Cross the X on those who fight.
Who think they are a shining light.

Shake the dust from off your feet.
And flee with Grace so you don't meet.
To be a part of what is wrong.
Will only make you sweat and frown.

Saying No should always be.
A word to others who cannot see.
For breaking hearts and causing pain.
Is not God's plan and you won't gain.

What others choose to do in life.
Is not your business as God's wife.
Know your worth and who you are.
Because your destiny will take you far.

You are not who others say.
So rise and shine your light today.
Know that God is on your side.
And in HIS hands He will stretch you wide.

I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be.
