Your Home Is A Battlefield

 Your very own home may be your battlefield,

and the voices you hear may break your spirit.

The trying of your faith will work 

patience in you..

For to endure to the end, you must get deep in prayer.

You cannot call yourself a Christian 

and expect an easy life..

To walk the narrow road, you must learn 

how to survive.

While birds of a feather all flock together,

you must keep your eyes on Jesus,

 for He is the calm in any weather.

 The house you called home, stands empty and alone. The laughter and the passion, brings ache to my bone. I am crying within, and without, I am lost. For you are not here, and I must walk in the dust. I remember the days, when the smell of your fare.. Moved through the mountains, and was carried with care. You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow.. Destinies met, on a fine summer's day.. Now memories remain, in the closet, as I pray. As I follow the pathway, where your feet once trod.. The scent of your fragrance, is the kiss of a bud.
