The Good News

 You promised you would never leave me..

You promised you would always care..

You promised I would always find favour..

And you promised I would always 

be in good cheer.

In my heart you are my shelter..

In my mind you are never far..

In my body you are the temple..

And I celebrate my new life's worth.

My goal is to do your will..

My message is to spread the Good News..

My purpose is to fulfill my destiny..

And to stay in the presence of the Lord.

 The house you called home, stands empty and alone. The laughter and the passion, brings ache to my bone. I am crying within, and without, I am lost. For you are not here, and I must walk in the dust. I remember the days, when the smell of your fare.. Moved through the mountains, and was carried with care. You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow.. Destinies met, on a fine summer's day.. Now memories remain, in the closet, as I pray. As I follow the pathway, where your feet once trod.. The scent of your fragrance, is the kiss of a bud.
