Knowledge Of The Word


 Father God, we cannot walk the walk,

and talk the talk

without knowledge of the Word.

Your Word is life.. Your Word is hope

and Your Word is the essence of our being.

You have appointed us..

You have destined us to live 

in such a time as this.

So Lord teach us and equip us..

Help us to rise up and press on.

Help us to shine as the light we are.

Help us to be the salt You told us we are.

And help us to feast from Your Word.

You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow.. Destinies met, on a fine summer's day.. Now memories remain, in the closet, as I pray. As I follow the pathway, where your feet once trod.. The scent of your fragrance, is the kiss of a bud.
