Test Me Lord

 Oh Lord! Test me.

Not with shame, but with mercy.

Uncover my hidden sins.

Purify my habits, my desires,

and my thoughts.

Help me to walk faithfully,

and uprightly before you. 

Gather my prayer into your vial in heaven,

and let it be counted worthy and acceptable,

unto you and you alone.. AMEN

You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow.. Destinies met, on a fine summer's day.. Now memories remain, in the closet, as I pray. As I follow the pathway, where your feet once trod.. The scent of your fragrance, is the kiss of a bud.
