Come Now Christian Soldier

 The mountains shall behold

the faithfulness of God..

Upon your heart of stone

He will defend you with His sword.

As a chosen generation, you can run

but cannot hide..

For looking down upon you,

is the one whose arms are open wide.

A brutish man thou art,

whose eyes are closed up tight..

The mysteries of the Father,

await your very sight.

Like an oasis in the desert,

provision is made for you..

Now depart from all your wickedness,

and receive what is your due.

No flood will come to drown you,

nor wind to blow you far..

To flourish in your old age,

you must be a shining star.

A joyful sound of triumph,

is waiting to be heard..

So come now Christian soldier,

and feast upon God's Word.
