The Fruit You Bear

 How can you love others,

when you do not love yourself?

The words you speak,

might be noise and very cheap.

It is costly to love,

the way Jesus says to love..

For humility and compassion,

must adorn you like a glove.


The way you treat others,

is the fruit you bear..

Strive for perfection,

and show them you care.

You are accountable to the Lord,

for the choices you make..

So think about forever,

for eternity is at stake.

For you are not here, and I must walk in the dust. I remember the days, when the smell of your fare.. Moved through the mountains, and was carried with care. You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow.. Destinies met, on a fine summer's day.. Now memories remain, in the closet, as I pray. As I follow the pathway, where your feet once trod.. The scent of your fragrance, is the kiss of a bud. Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you  forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus?
