I Love You Because

 You Know that my heart is yours..

When asked why, I answer Because.

When my cup is empty,

I see it full..

For the thoughts of my Father,

is softer than wool.


In secret I cry,

when my door is closed..

My yearning for comfort,

beckons the reddest rose.

While my smile paints a picture,

transcended through space..

Only in Jesus,

I can run this race.


My table is prepared,

with the fruits of the vine..

The robe on my back,

is as the purest of wine.

My home is my castle,

where prayer can be heard..

For the jewel in my crown,

is buried in the Word.

my overwhelmed heart..

The Lord of the harvest,

shall never depart.

In You I will trust..

To You I will sing..

I love You because..

You bought me A Ring.

For you are not here, and I must walk in the dust. I remember the days, when the smell of your fare.. Moved through the mountains, and was carried with care. You neglected to say, goodbye for all times.. Now tears fall like raindrops, without bells, without chimes. Why! Oh why.. did you have to go? To a place angels meet, where no seeds have to sow..  Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord?
