Watch And Pray

 As a thief He will come, 

so watch and pray.

With whom you rejoice, 

is with whom you will stay.

Keep your garments all white,

and dress with great care.

For the coming of the Lord,

is beyond death and fear.

Do not walk naked,

with a slight of shame.

The Lord of the harvest,

is worth more than fame.

Let tempest nor trials,

hinder your race.

For eternity is waiting,

to adorn you with lace.

Why do you store up,

treasures on earth?

Why do you harness,

vanity as worth?

There is coming a day,

when you will be judged..

For the life you have lived,

without doubt, without grudge.

Be not enamored,

with a multitude of lies.

The haters and mockers,

will surround you like flies.

You are granted the privilege,

of surrendering to God.

So tarry not my brethren,

and accept Jesus Christ as Lord.

It is appointed unto man,

once to die.

Do not breathe your last breath,

for the world alone to cry.

Many voices will speak,

so know what is truth.

For the rich and the poor,

are not all called Ruth.
