A Daughter Anointed

 Out of the furnace, 

you called me forth..

A daughter anointed

 and by Blood I was bought.

An inheritance whose favour,

 will always be rich..

Acquainted with service

 and statutes to pitch.


I am alive this day, 

because I cleave..

To live with understanding,

 that You will never leave.

I am called to obedience, 

in all that I do..

For the covenant keeper, 

has made me like new.


Surely in the midnight, I hear His


voice..

As a whisper so gentle, my heartbeat rejoice.

Deep calleth to deep, thus saith God..

I will rise up and press on and be a sharpened sword.


I will teach all my children,

 that Jesus Christ is Lord..

From beginning to end, 

we are tied to His cord.

Let heaven be a witness, 

we will walk the narrow road..

So all our days,

 there will be no heavy load.


Into the land,

 of promise and hope..

There will be no mountain,

 where the righteous cannot cope.

I will ask of my Father, 

to drink from the vine..

And He will make ready, 

the redness of wine.

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield.  Rest in peace, has a cost attached.. In the realm of each breath, to God you must latch. On this journey called life, you have choices to make.. For the consequences of making the wrong ones, will trap you in a fiery lake. Do not reject, the offering of the Lord.. In word and in deed, as you cut every cord. You are privileged to have, an opportunity to serve.. Where the Son shines bright and to receive what you deserve. Your life on earth, is not yours to claim.. You are on loan to get up and worship neither fortune nor fame. To rest in peace, you must accept Jesus as Lord.. For He is the way, the truth and the life.
