Whose Side Are We On

The Christian life is a race. Believers are called to run it with determination. To not give up, inspite of the difficulties.

Jesus could have made a different choice. He could've said, that WE did not deserve the sacrifice. He could've said, to hell with ALL of us. But He didn't.

We have all been chosen. We have all been preordained and predestined, to take part in this race.

God chose US, to be in this competition.... Because it IS a competition. It is a competition to the death.  A competition and a race, where every step of the course will be blocked.. Will be mocked.. with sickness, financial problems, marital problems, children problems.

We must go through unimaginable oppression.. and rejection.. and cruelty, as a believer. This race is all about who WE are. Who WE represent. Whose side WE are on.. And who is OUR captain.. Our leader.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you go forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you part of the glorious church... the one without spot and wrinkles?  Everything you have...

Sorrow Is Coming

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield. Surely the latter, shall be whiter than snow.. Toward the setting sun, where darkness cannot go. Like crystal clear waters, in whom there is life.. Behold all the beauty, of the Lord's only wife.
