My Mother's Memory

Inside my heart, there is a space..
Where timeless treasures, cannot be erased.
As I look beyond, the seeds of love..
My mother's memory, fits like a glove.

Just yesterday, you held my hand..
And taught me how, to rise and stand..
Your voice was filled, with blossoms rare..
To perfume those, around with cheer.

Mama you, have carried me..
Through time and tide, that I may see..
Strength and honour, from your heart..
On eagle's wings, will not depart.

The scent of scars, they perish not..
In my womb of care, they are ever hot.
As rubies red, you are in me..
A merchant ship, with gold so free.

There are days, I seek your face..
To see you smile, with pearls of grace..
As tears transcends, like churning milk..
I send a kiss, on beds of silk.

A child just once, but now is grown..
I pray you see, the seeds you've sown.
For all the care, and all the tear..
Your timeless love, I hold so dear.

This mother's day, I miss you much..
And I wish my arms, could feel your touch.
As a flower fades, and the day is closed..
My love for you, will never doze.
