I Will Rise Up Stronger

 You can humiliate me, in front of the crowd..

Capitalize, with shouts so loud.

You can push me aside, so others might smirk..

But I will rise up stronger, while my enemies lurk.


In vain you may hope, to see me cry..

As the scent of discouragement, neglect to die.

The God whom I serve, will never delay..

The comforts I need, to lighten my way.


You laughed me to scorn, but exposed your heart..

For the choice you made, shows you are not smart.

I pray that you seek, the mercies of the Lord..

For only forgiveness, can cleanse you from discord.


You have opened portals, with a welcome mat..

And your misfortune, is without tact.

What you thought might distress me, just made me smile..

For the promises of God, were close all the while.


I will not cower, in a corner and die..

Because you envy, what cannot lie.

We all must give


account, to the Lord someday..

And I pray you be worthy, so in heaven you stay.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you go forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you part of the glorious church... the one without spot and wrinkles?  Everything you have...

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield.
