From Blood To Blood

Miles and miles, you walk each day..

To get to where, you need to stay.

Just as deep, you need to go..

In your prayer, with seeds to sow.

Direct your flesh, to paths so green..

That you might serve, though sight unseen.

Oftentimes the things, you do..

May not ever, be for you.

Patterns travel, from blood to blood..

In word and

thought, just like a flood.

Though your heart, be ever fair..

There are things, that will not cheer.

In bitter waters, troubles come..

Like hunger pangs, to one and some.

Open arms, forget the shame..

For your kindness, is no game.

Time stands still, when mercy breaks..

Quickened by, the choice you make.

Starve your doubts, and feed your faith..

At the door, of heaven's gate.
