Cry But Rise
When you choose Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you will lose friends. The love you once shared will be forgotten. The laughter that smeared the faces of the "once fierced soldiers", will disappear.
You will be hated. You will be mocked. You will be disappointed and discouraged. There will be days, your eyes will behold those whom you hugged and embraced, in the midst of adversity, and your heart will break into a million pieces.. because they have all turned against you
.
You will weep, because of betrayal. You will go to God, seeking answers to the many questions in your head. You will not be able to afford the pursuance of the courses and chapters, of the pages clothed and fashioned with kindness and love.
As loneliness enters, and quantities exit, you will realize that who you are called forth to be, is to stand out. To be a follower of Christ and not of man. To consumate your passion and reverence to the Lord Most High.
When shadows become leeches, and merriment escapes, you will understand about separation from the wolf pack. You will be still and know that you have been anointed for purpose... and where you go, others cannot go.
Though your character be smeared, and your nights become cold, your bed will be worship, and your rising will be praise. Tears will endure for a night, but joy will always welcome you in the morning. You will understand that there is a way that seemeth right for a man, but the end thereof is destruction.
My brother.. My sister.. Cry but rise. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Do not lean on your own understanding. Though others forsake you, you will never be alone. Time and tide may fail you, but Jesus will never fail.
