A Philadelphia Church
You boast in the Lord, you are strong with might..
You confess to others, you walk by faith and not sight.
In the hour of testing, you run like the wind..
For your words are all empty, and you are covered in sin.
A brave and fearless soldier, you are counted on as not..
For before the cock crows trice, you yield to Satan's plot.
A Philadelphia church, will not be who you are..
Because unto the Father, you chose to be afar.
You spat out all the manna, heaven rained on you..
You considered not the many times, your garden bloomed with
dew.
In words and thoughts and action, you served way in the front..
But deep inside, your heart was cold, with iron old and blunt.
When trials raged, you wept with fright..
And cowered on the floor.
Though mercy said, I Am is here..
You mocked, at heaven's door.
Depart from Me, I know you not..
Ye worker of Hades.
When I called, you ran from me..
So in hell, your home will be.
