A House Divided

I am lost for words, when appearances dim..

I think to myself, the circumstances seems grim.

How did I present, a truth to behold..

When jealousy rages, and grips your poor soul..

I get up and fight, the forces at will..

By peacefully seeking, God's own fill.

To defend what is right, and what I believe..

The revelation of envy, from you

I receive.

I stand amazed, at what is declared..

For misfortune comes, in packets of dread.

The least in the castle, I continue to rise..

Yet clouds of refuge, are shadows in disguise.

A house divided, could never stand..

For the strongest of men, are perceived to be sand.

Why, Oh Why.. do the heathen rage..

When countless blessings, are locked in a cage..

Grateful I am, to run this race..

For the way of the humble, is absent of lace.

I yearn in my closet, for knowledge to obey..

Though beaten and battered, I will conquer and stay.
