A Christian Cannibal

You say you are a Christian, but you stab me in the back..

You tell me that you love me, but you plot and attack.

You boast in the Lord, and profess to be wise..

But you are a Christian Cannibal, in your cloak and disguise.

Your words shoot like arrows, to sever every vein..

Maliciously offensive, while heaping loads of pain.

Like a pattern upon linen, you seek to be known..

To clothed

your destruction, like marrow in the bone.

Your legacies and values, are as black as the night..

Cunning as a werewolf, naked of delight.

Your vineyard is a graveyard, where everything is dry..

And there is no inheritance, for love in you has died.

There is no salt to heal you, so bitter waters reign..

In many ways of scorning, you opened wide disdain.

Grateful revelation, has come before my eyes..

Now I see beyond the natural, to your shame and your lies.

Depart from me oh Cannibal, for you are not so mild..

Your arms are not my comfort, for they are filled with guile.

Affording of my purpose, I break off every chain..

And in the name of Jesus, I will receive my gain.
