You Took Me In

I found myself, on a journey from home..

I thought in my heart, I would never more roam.

The zeal down inside me, reflected my glow..

As I gathered my praise, to sow as I go.

Oh righteous brother, so strong and so brave..

It is my good fortune, you are no longer a slave.

With wine in my cup, I am grateful for grace..

Unending love, you have clothed me with lace.

You took me in, without sight or sound..

Justly dividing, the ones who were found.

As my footsteps were received, on the tile that was laid..

My heart gave a leap, for you had obeyed.

Arrived.. arrived.. no longer delayed..

My time of excellence, is the price you paid.

The season of harvest, to call my own..

Is the birth of rejoicing, for the seeds I have sown.
