One Thousand Like A Dove

You did not bring me this far, just to leave me..

You fashioned me with favour, for my eyes to see.

Thou art my portion, and in You I will trust..

For the songs on my pilgrimage, I sing till I'm crushed.

Thousands upon thousands, of silver and gold..

Is inconsequential, for my body and my soul.

Thy word have I hid, in my heart for my keep..

To continue without slacking, and awake me from my sleep

Rivers of water, run down mine eyes..

When I think about your mercy, and your cleansing from all lies.

Accord me the dawning, of the favour of the day..

That your precepts and your principles, will keep me when I pray.

Accept my freewill offerings, of my heart and mind and soul..

Concerning all my testimonies, I have known from old.

I praise you in the daylight, and by night I hear your voice..

Like the sweet Rose of Sharon, I

will rise and will rejoice.

My hand you hold on tightly, when arrows shoot at me..

With great peace you clothe me gently, to go where I should be.

Every cord you have cut asunder, that I may know your love..

Now here I stand before you, one thousand like a dove.
