My Shining Star

I think of you, in childhood days..

I hear your laughter, in different ways.

Those little legs and tiny feet..

Just to hug you, as we meet.

Through the lens, of days gone by..

My memory, is not goodbye.

The clothes you wore, the words you said..

Have dressed my heart, so I am fed.

Beautiful, your eyes were filled..

With endearing love, while the earth stood still.

Moments gone, but never far..

For you are, my shining star.

How I wish, for long ago..

When simple things, would make love grow.

As lonesome days and lonely nights..

Surround my space, like candle lights.

Where you go.. Oh child of mine..

May your beauty, always shine.

I pray with grace, you hunger

not..

As favour completes, inside your pot.
