I Have Considered My Ways

I have considered my ways, and I am content..

Upward and forward, I will go where I am sent.

The Spirit of the Lord, is my strength and stay..

And in His abiding, I will always find my way.

This new wine I drink, quickens my stride..

To obey the commands, as the sounds of the tide.

To joy in the Lord, and sing out in praise..

Is a privilege to carry, and it cannot be erased.

A remnant is rising, in the east and the west..

They shall rest in their dwelling, and find comfort to bless.

Out of captivity, and determined to go..

I will amount with the chosen, and the righteous to sow.

No longer careless, but dressed in the best..

I have put off the old man, with considerably less.

My walk in my due, to escape from the pit..

Is to lean on the Lord, as my anchor to sit.

I have considered my ways, and forsaken the world..

That henceforth my temple, will be built to withhold.

Amen and Amen, to the one whom I love..

Forever and ever, my gift from above.
