I Believe In God The Father

In the natural I cannot see it, but I know it is there..

So I press on with gladness, and pray without fear.

I live by the Word, as the manuel for my life..

That in perseverance I will conquer, and be absent from strife.

At times I feel discouraged, when I am surrounded by clouds..

At times I profess my purpose, though my strength is filled with doubts.

How often do I gather, the wheat from the tare..

As graceful as the snowflake, in shelter from the scare.

My thoughts in sweet surrender, in moments out of time..

Quickens all my substance, like church bells  chimes.

I believe in God the Father, for what He says is true..

And come tomorrow morning, I will get my due.

Afforded for this journey, my needs are always met..

With stored up wealth of knowledge, my course is heaven set.

I will neglect fear and worry, for those are not my own..

And by faith I am blessed, through every skin

and bone.
