A Land Of Woe
As you walk through the valley, our paths may cross..
Friend or foe, we may gain or loss.
Sit on the grass, while the sun gives light..
For the womb of the morning, could be faith or blight.
Which of us, might speak with grace..
To clothe the one, whose shoes lack lace?
The strength in each, will all be seen..
As the language of the Lord, transcends on the green.
Where we go, is there we rest..
What is seasoned, is our best.
Until you know, just who is Lord..
You may never, draw your sword.
Come now Friend, let's make a pact..
For time and tide, will bring forth tact.
Eat my bread, and drink my wine..
And disperse of pride, as we sit and dine.
We'll say farewell, as brethren fair..
On our journey, without tear.
From a land of woe, two souls were blessed..
Now God our Lord, could take us west.
