You Can Do ALL Things

On earth you may have two homes..
The home where you live and rest your head... the place where your mails are addressed.
The other home is the place where you gather to worship the Lord... The Church.

Those two homes will be where you are tried and processed and prepared, for what lies ahead.
You will be betrayed.. you will be disappointed.. you will be abused.. you will be broken.. you will be discouraged.. you will be battered and bruised.. you will be laughed at and looked upon with scorn.
At times you will want to run away and go to a place, where nobody knows your name.

There will be moments when all you can do is just weep, because your heart is broken into a million pieces. Your voice will be suppressed and those you call friends, will become your enemies. Your surroundings will become walls of a prison, sucking the life out of you. You will loose hope in humanity.

My dear friend.. God never said your life on earth will be without trials. He never said you will always have sunshine and no rain. Jesus never said you would be loved and appreciated everyday by everybody. HE said YOU will be hated of ALL men. Brother shall rise up against brother. Children shall rise up against their parents. In the synagogues you shall be beaten. You shall be delivered up to be afflicted and to be killed. You shall be separated from the company of those you love.

Yet, in the midst of your famine and wilderness and despair, you are to love your enemies. You have to do good to them that hate you. You have to forgive those who

trespass against you and bless those who curse you and despitefully use you.

You are never alone. When your back is against the wall, you can lean on Jesus. His mercies are new every morning. Do not dwell on the deeds of others. You are accountable for YOU and not them... To love your neighbour is not easy. To forgive those who hurt you is not easy. To rise up like a Phoenix out of the ashes, is not easy. BUT YOU can do ALL things, through Christ who strengthens you.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you go forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you part of the glorious church... the one without spot and wrinkles?  Everything you have...

Sorrow Is Coming

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield. Surely the latter, shall be whiter than snow.. Toward the setting sun, where darkness cannot go. Like crystal clear waters, in whom there is life.. Behold all the beauty, of the Lord's only wife.
