Oh, Abba Father

Your penetrating gaze, give delight to my face..

For beholding my good fortune, are the evidence of your grace.

Withholding nothing, I am tangible proof..

For the gift of your love, is the rippling on my roof.

How graciously given, with favour and fare..

The jewels that adorn me, with tastes of great care.

Kindled is my companion, where faith meets with God..

To intertwine with sweetness and transcend above board.

While I am silent, your heart echoes near..

Conversation beckons, with truth and not fear.

To listen to the sounds, of the whispers in the wind..

I savour in my belly, for I am cleansed from sin.

Oh, Abba Father, so faithful and true..

I am humbled in your presence and removed from the dew.

Look upon your sunshine and embrace who you made..

For everything about me, I have before you, laid.

Come and sit beside me and keep me company..

Tell me of your travels, throughout eternity.

Just a little longer and I will come to you..

Yet while the grass is greener, I will seek my due.
