Love Disappoints

 A parent must be wise, in word and in thought..

A parent must be loyal and not a liar to be caught.

A parent has to know, all the tricks of the trade..

For those in the household, to use for their aid.


Neglect of the parent, so often invade..

The heart of the children, to abandon the decayed.

Robbed of rejoicing, the presence of the weak..

A parent is beguiled, like the serpent as he speaks.


Dressed like a wolf, in the midst of the home..

The smiles of the children, attains where they roam.

Love disappoints, with a program of care..

As the parent is abandoned, without thought and good cheer.


Respect for the parent, is as shame to be seen..

For the light and salt, is now hardened and mean.

To inherit the blessings, the child must confess..

The love for the parent, through every trial and test.


Once upon a time, there was honour in the heart..

But this generation, seeks the greatest of art.

A word to the wise, is a block to the fool..

For he hastens to be rich, to be used as a tool.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you go forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you part of the glorious church... the one without spot and wrinkles?  Everything you have...

Sorrow Is Coming

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield. Surely the latter, shall be whiter than snow.. Toward the setting sun, where darkness cannot go. Like crystal clear waters, in whom there is life.. Behold all the beauty, of the Lord's only wife.
