Were You There To Kneel And Pray

Where were you, when I made the sky..

Were you there, when favour could not die..

When I made the clouds, to dress like a tree..

Were you there, to buzz like a bee?

When the morning stars, sang out with praise..

Were you there, to clap and gaze..

Where were you, when I called forth the sea..

To stand and be still, till all mountains flee?

When I broke up the fountains, of the every fallowed ground..

Were you there.. could you be found..

When my sons of the harvest, shouted for joy..

Were you there, like a shining toy?

Which of the wonders, did you fight for to free..

When the treasures of snow, was as white as could be..

Did you come from afar, with gold in your hand..

To lay down beside me, like pillars of sand?

Where is the reserved, of the born that abides..

Were you destined, till waters subside..

Have you taken, a measure to rule..

Where the breath of mine, sustains even a fool?

When I breathe a fresh breath, to mark every day..

Were you there, to kneel and pray..

When I put wisdom, in the heart of man..

Were you there, to declare I Can?
