Fishers Went Fishing

Fishers went fishing and caught quite a catch..

Their nets were bursting, while they searched for a latch.

Help ran to them, in peace and with love..

All to behold, the gift like a dove.

The waves though fierce, were pruned without fear..

As light as a feather, they were handled with care.

Mist from the rising, of the clouds by day..

Intertwined the faithful, for they knew how to pray.

In the midnight hour, while the beds were all filled..

Assignments from heaven, were written and not stilled.

Kept from misfortune and covered by decree..

Yahweh stilled the waters, so the captives could be free.

Dressed up in raiment, called garments of praise..

Glory Hallelujah, was a shout to be raised..

Fishers out fishing, with toils in array..

Quickened by the Spirit, of the one they could not pay.
