Amen Fills My Heart

A fountain of tears, sometimes I weep..

For the Lord in His silence, echoes so deep.

I look toward peace, as war is ahead..

Yet given a task, I will run without dread.

The voice in my head, is an army of dust..

In the multitude of heartbeats, my praise is a must.

My strength though weakened, in times of distress..

Awake I must be, to get out of the mess.

I consider the lilies, in beauty so fair..

So shall tomorrow, will clothe every care.

I am not forgotten, though words shoot at me..

For the lifter of my burdens, is there to set me free.

Growth with grace abiding, I will never be without..

For in my habitation, love is not a doubt.

I live within the Yea, while Amen fills my heart..

Surrounding all my purpose, where dawn is just a start.
