I Surrender Today

 You gave me your blood, so I could be clean...

For my sins are so many, some hidden, some seen.

To the world I am pretty, for I dress to impress..

Yet deep on the inside, I am stained and a mess.


By day I keep smiling, for the sun is above..

By night I am crying, as I am kicked and shoved.

I know where I am, you are there by my side..

So I pray for deliverance, with my


arms open wide.


Keep me, Oh Lord, from the violent man..

For days upon days, I struggle to stand.

The cost on the Cross, when my spirit is weak..

Comes to my rescue, when I pray and I seek.


Sometimes a snare, is set for my soul..

When I am weakened and weary, to continue my goal.

Bring me out from prison, for you are stronger than me..

Attend to my cry and let my heart be free.


Quicken me from trouble, as I gracefully bend..

In all I must do, may your mercies never end.

My bones may be tired, but I press on each day...

Withholding nothing, I surrender today.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
