Today And Tomorrow

 Today you will laugh, but tomorrow you might cry..

Today you may be high, but tomorrow you might sigh.

Today all you desire, might come into your hand..

But tomorrow you may fall, when you thought you would stand.


Today you may be strong, but tomorrow you might be weak.

Today you may get, all that you might seek.

Today you have friends, but tomorrow you have none.

Today you may live, but tomorrow is not won.


Today the grass is green, but tomorrow it may dry.

Today you have food, but tomorrow you might cry.

Today you have a home, but tomorrow it is gone..

Today you have hope, but tomorrow might bring scorn.


Today you have sunshine, but tomorrow might have rain.

Today you might be rich, but tomorrow you go insane.

Today there is time, but tomorrow might be


lost.

Today is slowly closing and tomorrow there is a cost.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
