My Enough, Is Not Enough

 My enough, is not good enough..

To express my love and appreciation, for all that you have done for me.

Though I give you my heart, on a silver platter..

My insides say, it is not good enough.


I wish everyday, I knew the right words to say..

To paint you a picture, from my heart to convey.

In hunger I would go and rest in your love..

Because your presence, fits me like a glove.


My enough, is not enough..

For deep in the darkness, my struggles are rough..

When my ship is sinking, I pray for your sail..

To guide me through, every path that


fail.


Though I get on my knees and I cry, to you Lord.

I desperately need, a much stronger cord.

What I have to give, I wish it was more..

For my enough, is not enough.


As I sing in the midst, of valleys and hills..

I yearn for my soul, to be swallowed in thrills.

I wish my enough, was good enough..

To show you Lord, how I love you much.

Hungry Days and Lonely Nights

 I choose to walk, the narrow way.. With all my heart and with all I say. The sword in my heart and the Word in my mouth.. Continuously witness, against fear and doubt. I am sold out to, the Lord Most High.. Who quickens my spirit and hears my cry. Master of sound and healer of the sick.. Is there to shield me, against the devil's trick. The path I walk, is not for all.. For only the chosen, will heed the call. Through hungry days and lonely nights.. Goodness and mercy, are my guiding lights. To follow the crowd, was not my command.. While harvest time, is in such demand. Where the rivers flow, I have yet to know.. But I labour as I tarry and sow seeds for to grow. The forces of darkness, might rage at me.. But as a carrier of the anointing, I am quickened and free. The tools in my hands and the Lord as my shield... Are more than sufficient, for victory and yield.

Like A Babbling Fool

I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool. I lost my identity, in the pride of life.. Like a fox in the henhouse, I divorced my wife. I laughed at five loaves and two fishes, in the desert.. For a servant's heart, was distant at my birth.
