The Keeper Of My Soul

 You are the keeper of my soul...

And because you own me, I am ever so bold.

I will rise to the test and give of my best..

For in you Lord, I will always find rest.


I know in my heart, you have captured my mind...

For as the air surrounds me, it is never unkind.

What draws me closer, to you everyday..

Is your never-ending mercy and love, when I pray.



Oftentimes I think of days...

When shadows crept, on my pathways.

Yet through the longings, of my heart..

Your love and grace, were my Painter's Art.


There are moments, when I fear..

For those I hold, within my care.

When darkness comes and there is gloom..

I look to you, to sweep the room.


Grateful I will always be..

To have your love and care for me.

To know the cost, of doing good..

In knowledge, I have understood.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
