Come Destiny Helpers
I say to the Lord, I need a breakthrough...
For bills are coming quicker, than the grass is getting dew.
You said in Your Word, I will never have to beg...
So fill me with abundance, so my house can be fed.
While my neighbour is prospering, I am in lack.
And I fail in my wisdom, for everything looks black.
I question the Lord, and ask why not me...
For desperation burns and the burdens I see.
Words of encouragement, so easily transcends....
But my reality, seems never to end.
My faith is ever strong and I believe in my God....
But my cupboard is empty and I am dry like a board.
I hunger for more, than perhaps I deserve...
But in all that I do, in humility I serve.
Each morning I get up, I go to God first...
For without any grace, I could never make a boast.
Come destiny helpers and bring what is mine...
Hasten your footsteps, so by faith I will dine.
My horizons need to broaden and my bags must be packed...
So more than sufficiently, I will not be lacked.
