 I choose to love you, because you are real.

In the midnight hour, when darkness surrounds me, I am protected by you.

With there's no one around, to offer me some comfort... I am comforted by you.

I wish I could hug you and hold you so tight. 

I wish I could see you, like the morning sunlight.

I know you are there, because I feel you everywhere.

But I hunger for more, than the grandest cheer.

From the moment I knew you, I could not escape.

With so much affection, I walked past your gate.

Miles upon miles, through trials and storms...

I surrendered my heart and got it reformed.

If wishes were horses, I know I would ride..

For since I was a child, I would wish you as my guide.

Now I am grown, I wish for no more...

For in prayer I commit, my soul and my core.
