The Lord Is A Jealous God

The Lord is a jealous God. Those of you who read the Bible would know what the Word of God says. 
It is important to note that even in this generation, it stays the same.
So many times, you will hear people say.... he/she is my mentor.... I believe in them..... I want to be just like them. But do you truly comprehend what is being said?
As a believer in Jesus, our only mentor should indeed be JESUS CHRIST. He is the Mentor of mentors. 
Everything you need to know, is wrapped up in Him and Him alone. Yes, it is important to learn.... to explore.... to have a teachable spirit... and to educate yourself,

in the precepts and principles of the Most High God... But when words are spoken about accepting a human being, as your mentor.... then you are telling the Lord, that He is not good enough, to equip you with everything you need...
Behind closed doors, you do not know the true essence of the individual you are being mentored by. You do not know if they have a prayer life. You do not know if they are married to the Lamb. You do not know if the life they live is in alignment to the Lord.
Be careful child of God. Do not presume to think that, it is well, when indeed it is not.
Pattern your mind and your spirit, after the Lord. Let Him be your mentor. Let Him be your Hero. Let the God of the Mountain and the God of the Valley, be your Master Mentor. Do not allow the creation, to take the place of the Creator. He is watching your every move.

Tomorrow May Be Too Late

 Do not wait until something happens to you, before you call upon the Lord.  Time is running out and you may not get the chance to even say JESUS, in your time of need. You must make preparations and be equipped for any eventuality. You prepare in advance to cook a meal. You prepare and you study for tests and exams. You prepare and make certain, you have every document necessary for a Visa appointment. You prepare for the rainy weather and disaster. You prepare your resume for a job. You prepare for an event. You prepare for the clothes you wear. BUT do you prepare for eternity? Do you get into your closet and pray? Do you lift your voice in worship to the Lord? Do you fast and present your body as a living sacrifice? Do you go forsake the assembly of God's people? Do you tell others about Jesus? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Are you part of the glorious church... the one without spot and wrinkles?  Everything you have...

Sorrow Is Coming

 Above it all, you are the God who hides.. For your heartfelt yearning, is to those who abides. The covenant of everlasting, to the sons of men.. Will mark every footstep, till time shall transcend. Thus saith the Lord, to those who have ears.. Sorrow is coming, without any cares. Surely the tempter, might rage upon you.. But be of good courage, for the old shall be new. Speak to the stranger, whose delight is for fame.. Look beyond the natural, for life is not a game. Look unto Jesus, for HE is the way.. And assemble yourself, while you kneel and pray. Unto the seed, of the royal birth.. The statutes and precepts, are there for your girt. Pollute not your temple, for your members to yield.. And rise up with fortune, for the Lord is your shield.
