Zion Child

 Wherever you roam.

I will call you back home.

For all that you do.

I am always with you.

You might look to the east.

But I have prepared you a feast.

So be ready to go.

To the one that you know.

With longing you cried.

For the one who had died.

To take you away.

From the earth and dismay.

Where you will no longer stoop.

As a chicken in a coop.

But you will bow to the Lord.

Who is your Saviour and God.

To say thank you for the blessing.

And to stop all the guessing.

By and by where you stand.

It will be the promised land.

Zion child of the King.

The sound of heaven's bells ring.

Singing welcome home at last.

And goodbye to

the past.

Forever and always.

In vials of prayers.

You have cried out in longing.

For your soulmate adorning.
